Impact in 2010
Impact will have 2 mini concerts in 2010, unlike previous years when we have held one major concert in November. We will have 2 smaller concerts and perform 2 routines per class at each event, which will be held at the Globe Theatre at Gateshead. This will give the students the chance to perform on stage twice throughout the year and gain more experience and confidence!
Costumes will be hired and kept low-key and low-priced for all families. Concert tickets will also be low-priced and students only attend one stage rehearsal the day before the performances to ensure they are confident on the stage.
All students receive trophies at the end of year presentation, as well as selected students from each age group gaining special awards for effort throughout the year. Our Impact Performer of the Year receives the Perpetual trophy for outstanding performance throughout the year, as well as a scholarship for the following year.
